What is Interactive video?
An interactive video incorporates clickable annotations or “hotspots” into the video. Rather than crossing your fingers and hoping to engage your brand’s audience after they watch a video, an interactive video allows them to engage with your brand directly through the video content.
Some interactive videos are more like the modern version of a “choose-your-own-adventure” book. The user is able to choose what content they view next, and you are able to track audience preference.
Interactive videos offer a new way to test products, track consumer behaviour and collect audience analytics. Production of an interactive video is a little different from other forms of video, as user interactivity needs to be taken into account. The video can either be computer generated or live action shot with a camera, either way the project needs to be properly planned. The team at Think Allowed has considerable experience in this field so please get in touch if you would like to see exampled or would like to discuss a project.
